On 15 April afternoon, Zhuo Zhi, president of SWUFE, visited the gymnasium of Guanghua Campus to make a filed survey of the volleyball venues (Qingyang District) of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games. Li Yongqiang, vice president of SWUFE, Wu Xuesong, vice chairman of CPPCC Qingyang District and deputy director of Qingyang Competition Committee of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, heads of relevant organizations of Qingyang competition division, task forces of SWUFE, as well as heads of the relevant functional offices participated the survey.

In the survey, the two sides visited the main venue for volleyball games, training venue, office space, supporting buildings and other related facilities and had an in-depth communication on the overall preparation of the games. Then an on-site meeting was held to compare notes, discuss issues, and work out solutions in terms of specific issues such as venue delivery, Covid-19 prevention and control, closed-loop management during the games, and guarantee for energy and resources.

Pro.f Zhuo expressed his sincere thanks to related personnel from Qingyang District and the SWUFE task force for their cooperation and hard work since the games preparation was initiated. He pointed out that SWUFE administration attached great importance to the preparation for the volleyball games of Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games and had set up a designated task force headed by university leaders to coordinate and accomplish various tasks effectively and efficiently. He stressed that for a long time, SWUFE has enjoyed strong support from Qingyang district where it falls under jurisdiction. With the determination to host a safe and splendid event, SWUFE will continue to work closely with Qingyang District and accomplish the follow-up tasks, so as to make the volleyball games in Qingyang District run smoothly with distinctive characteristics.

Wu Xuesong expressed his sincere gratitude to SWUFE for its hard work in the preparation of the games and for the strong support SWUFE has shown to the venue center of the Qingyang Competition Division. He pointed out that Qingyang District will continue to support SWUFE and provide exceptional services to the university. He hoped that the two sides could deepen exchanges and cooperation through the volleyball games in Qingyang District and jointly contribute to the success of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, a major event not only for Sichuan province but also for the whole country.
