01 - What are Economic Experiments?

In simple terms, decision-makers make natural decisions after understanding certain decision rules. The entire process is easy, enjoyable, and honest, requiring no specialized knowledge while providing substantial and real income based on decisions. Throughout, you only need to make your decisions, not showcase your ability.

Specifically, economic experiments mainly involve manipulating experimental environments or rules based on controllable conditions (assumptions) within the experiment's controlled setting. By observing subjects' behavior and analyzing the outcomes, economic theories are tested, compared, refined, and serve as a foundation for policy decisions.
